Mgr. Markéta Tomčíková

I was born in Czech town Pribram, but I have Greek origin from my mother. I have graduated at Modern Greek Language and Literature at the Philology department from the University of Masaryk in Brno. I reached after that Master Degree Diploma at Modern Greek Philology at the University of Ioannina. And during my studies took part in several internships abroad, in the center of Stavros Niarchos in Ioannina and at the University of Vienna. I have established in 2012 the Association of Greek-Czech Friendship with Saturday school and extensive library, and became chairwoman till 2016. I was working for big international companies in fields of international business and tourism for Greek and Cyprian market, in the Czech Republic and in Greece. I live in Prague and I have dealt with commercial translations and interpreting from Greek to Czech since 2015, with official translations and interpreting since summer 2019.
